A motivated PETRONAS MIE Racing Honda moves on to Spain
WorldSBK rider Rabat is hungry for more at home in Spain; a motivated Zaidi seeks to build on recent performance.

The PETRONAS MIE Racing Honda Team and riders Tito Rabat and Zaqhwan Zaidi are now on site at Motorland Aragón in Spain, ready to compete in the tenth round of the 2025 Superbike World Championship.
Born in nearby Barcelona, Rabat will want to do well at this, his home round. Having scored points at two of the three rounds in which he has competed so far with the PETRONAS MIE Racing Honda team, Tito now has an opportunity to battle in front of his home crowd, which will no doubt serve as an added source of inspiration. Last year’s Aragón round proved tough for Rabat, something he’ll be looking to change this weekend aboard the CBR1000RR-R.
At the latest French round Zaidi was able to make significant progress over the course of the weekend and score his first championship point of the season. Spurred on by the feeling found in France, the Malaysian is hoping that he can further build on his performance in Spain. But first, rookie Zaidi will need to learn another track that he has not seen before.
Located roughly 250 km from Barcelona, Motorland Aragón is situated in Spain’s autonomous community of Aragón. The facility was inaugurated in 2009, and WorldSBK has been a regular visitor since 2011. Fully resurfaced just last year, the track measures 5.077 kilometres in length and features a combination of long, sweeping turns and tighter, more complex corners, as well as a long back straight and elevation changes.
Tito Rabat #53
“The last round in France was tough, but Aragón is my home round, and I expect to achieve a good result. I feel good and well-prepared, and we head there very focused and keen to do well. We really want to achieve our goals, so hopefully with the precious support of Honda we can start to do just that.”
Zaqhwan Zaidi #21
“We put together quite a positive weekend in France, and I was able to score a first championship point. This is added motivation to continue working and trying to progress together with my team. The goal will be to make a solid start in Friday’s practices. First I’ll focus on learning the track and then hopefully we can find a suitable setup that allows me to run some good races.”
